Weirdo God- Artist Residency, "NO VACANCY" 2021

In July of 2021, Brandan/ Dr. B. Zurk, was selected to participate in a month long Residency in Denver, CO. The workspace was an old and soon to be torn down warehouse. During his time in residency, Brandan built a 16ft tall Weirdo God. Inspired by medieval weapons and man's need to create Gods. Brandan made the entire moveable sculpture from elements that were strictly found on site of the warehouse. The Weirdo God is constructed of found large wooden spools, wood, cardboard, screws, nails, fabric, ethernet cords, boxing gloves, pulleys, and paint.
