Conjuring of Liminal Lovers
In February of 2023, Mad Tatters created an immersive art show at Pirate Contemporary Art Oasis in Lakewood, CO. The show was built around a large installation of two characters representing the masculine and feminine principles of the conscious/ subconscious realm. From there a series of Heads, Hands, and Candles were interwoven to further the surreal narrative of the psycho/mythological symbols. Interspersed throughout was the Tree of Life, Ouroboros serpent, and several paintings and sculptures that resonated with the themes present in the show.
